Here goes nothing...

Well, I've decided to start a blog. There are so many blogs that I enjoy reading that I thought, why not start my own. I doubt there will be many readers, other than family and close friends, but I have a lot of extra time on my hands so why not! Wait, who am I kidding? I don't even have time to update my facebook status. This may have been a bad idea. In any event, I am going to attempt. I mostly just want an easy way to share what is going on over here in Miedema-Land. Crazy as it is. Hopefully I will get around to updating at least once a week (that's my goal anyways!). So here goes nothing...
